Weekly Reading for January 28, 2008
Happy Monday!
I read somewhere that last Monday has been documented as the most depressing day of the year. Supposedly someone has chronicled the factors of winter blah’s; the lack of sunlight, and the potential looming holiday credit card debt. It is true that the effects of winter can be hard for some to deal with, but it is also a time of personal reflection. Do you really know who you are?
Take time to evaluate yourself objectively, but without criticism. Now is the time to set your goals, both personally and professionally, for the year. Take time to pay attention to your personal needs and wants. Be your own best friend for once. Pay attention to your body and see what it is asking for. Maybe it is time for you to get the physical that you have been delaying for years. Perhaps a massage or some energy work to get yourself back into alignment. Not everything can wait for another day.
Look at what you want out of life. Do you think that when you reach a goal you will finally be happy? Start out by being happy with things as they are, say to yourself, “I will not settle for anything but feeling good”. Focus on you, your feelings, needs and wants. By spending this time and calling upon no one but you, you will come to the right decisions about your life and your future.
Take the time to reclaim your inner power and self. You hold amazing power within yourself, find it, treasure it, and let it show you the way. Be receptive to your inner guidance, follow it…it knows the way….
Love and Light…
Ann
