Weekly Reading for January 21, 2008
As I prepared for this weeks reading, I was looking out the window at the beautiful snow we have received over the last 24 hours. Normally snow on the farm is not a welcome thing when you have livestock to care for, but this snow is sparkling white, filled with almost a crystal like essence, I can’t help but think the universe is sending a message! The white of it is so pure, so new, and so pretty, you can’t help but smile a little. The snow reminds me of a lot of things, like when we were small, the mere mention of snow gave a glimmer of hope that tomorrow would be a ‘snow day’ from school. Hours would be spent playing outside, building snowmen and snow forts, making angels in the white fluff, sledding down the hill across the street. After hours of snow fun, we would come in to warm up with a steaming glass of hot chocolate. When did we lose the essences of simple things that a child dreams of? When did we become jaded by the demands of adulthood? When did we lose focus on what our true path should be??
Days like this are meant to be savored. Take the time to spend in quietness, and enjoy the beauty that Mother Nature has bestowed on us. Now is the time to be open to the messages that are being sent your way everyday! Look at your beliefs, do they truly resonate with your way of life? Or are you clinging to them because that is the only thing you know? Maybe now is the time for you to open and expand your mind. Maybe now is the time to work through what is holding you back from achieving your dreams. It may not be easy to plunge through these areas, but hang on, don’t give up at the first sign of discomfort, push through it, deal with the issue, and move on. Take care not to make quick judgments or choices, take the time needed to make the right decisions for yourself. Make sure you are being totally honest with yourself and others, in order to clear up the baggage you are carrying, you must be ready to release it all, and that requires honesty on all levels.
Surround yourself with light, love and honesty. Wrap yourself in a cloak of blue sapphire light, and allow yourself to draw in the light and messages from your guides. You will find yourself able to reach towards the sky and pull down everything that is meant to be yours—your full potential is there…go for it! Use the pureness of your heart and your soul will be empowered to succeed. All will be fine, there are many who are at your side to help guide you, trust, love, and let your beautiful light come to the surface!
